Eruore Amalaka Ehigiamusoe is a Lecturer II in the Department of Physiology at Southern Delta University, Ozoro, Nigeria. She holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Human Physiology from the University of Benin and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Physiology, where her research focuses on renal and cardiovascular physiology. Her research interests centre on the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and cardiorenal disorders, with particular emphasis on the interplay between cardiovascular and renal dysfunction. She is also interested in experimental physiology, oxidative stress, and the evaluation of therapeutic interventions for chronic diseases. Mrs. Ehigiamusoe has authored and co-authored scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals and has presented her research at national scientific conferences, contributing to the advancement of physiological sciences. Her work has provided insights into the impact of hypertension and diabetes mellitus on renal function and the physiological mechanisms involved in disease progression. Beyond research, she is committed to excellence in teaching, curriculum development, student mentorship, and academic service. She has several years of experience teaching physiology at the tertiary level and is dedicated to fostering critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and professional development among students. She is a member of the Physiology Association of Nigeria and actively participates in scientific conferences and collaborative research aimed at advancing biomedical knowledge and improving health outcomes.
